Hailey College of Commerce (HCC) has signed an MOU with Ihsan Trust, a subsidiary of Meezan Bank Limited, to provide interest-free loans to students. Ihsan Trust will offer 1 million PKR in the first year, increasing to 4 million in future years. Additionally, Ihsan Trust will establish a Center of Islamic Finance at HCC. Prof. Dr. Hafiz Zafar Ahmad, Principal of HCC, thanked Ihsan Trust’s GM, Mr. Fayyaz ur Rehman Khan, for their support, while Prof. Dr. Ashfaq Ahmad played a key role in making the collaboration successful. The center aims to promote education and research in Islamic finance.
